Wayne County School classes have been cancelled for tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 30) and
Thursday (Jan. 31), but students will be able to continue their studies on those days through Non-
Traditional Instruction, known as NTI days.

Classes have been dismissed due to the forecasted cold temperatures, in combination with
continued struggling student illnesses.

Students have been given NTI curriculum instructions that they can complete at home. Students
needing assistance may call, text or email the schools and talk to their teachers from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
on either day. Middle and High School students will access the Converge program on their Chrome
Books to complete their coursework online. Students will be completing Day 1 and Day 2 assignments in
the packets that have been distributed to them.
