Wayne County 21st Century CARE Center is provided by a 21st Century Learning Grant.
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) serves as a supplementary program to enhance local reform efforts. The program assist students in meeting academic standards in core subjects (math, reading. science, and social studies) by providing out- of-school time services to students and their families through a commnunity learning center that offers an array of activities to complement regular school day academic programs.
Students in grades 3 though 8 are eligible to participate in Wayne County 21st Century CARE Center and shall not be discriminated against on the basis of race, sex, religion or creed.
Students attending the CARE Center are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations so that all who attend may have a positive and safe experience.
