• Alert:

    Wayne County will resume in-person classes on Monday, September 28 on an alternating schedule.  In-person students will be assigned to attend school on either Red (Monday & Wednesday) or White (Tuesday and Thursday) days.  All other days will be virtual days.  Expect communication from your child’s teacher regarding their assignment by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 22nd. Arrangements will be made for all members of the same household to attend on the same days.  Students who chose the full-time virtual option will continue with virtual instruction.

EOC (End of Course) Assessments

EOC - End of Course Assessments

End-of-Course (EOC) assessments for English 10, Algebra II, Biology and U.S. History have been purchased by the Kentucky Department of Education as part of ACT’s QualityCore® program.  EOC assessments will be used as part of Wayne County High School's accountability.

 
The EOC assessments are administered throughout the year as students earn credit in each of the following courses:  English 2, Biology 1, U.S. History and Algebra 2.  The EOC assessments count as the students semester exam in each class.  Semester exams are worth 20% of the students grade.
 


English 2, Biology 1, Algebra II, and U. S. History will be comprised of the following:

Two, 45-minute, paper-pencil multiple-choice sections (35-38 questions each)
