• Alert:

    Wayne County will resume in-person classes on Monday, September 28 on an alternating schedule.  In-person students will be assigned to attend school on either Red (Monday & Wednesday) or White (Tuesday and Thursday) days.  All other days will be virtual days.  Expect communication from your child’s teacher regarding their assignment by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 22nd. Arrangements will be made for all members of the same household to attend on the same days.  Students who chose the full-time virtual option will continue with virtual instruction.

WCHS students compete in WKU Agriscience Day

Seventeen FFA members traveled to Western Kentucky University to compete in the annual WKU Agriscience Day on Thursday, April 10, 2014.

The results of the contests are as follows:

Drew Phillips received a ribbon and recognition for placing 3rd out of 15 contestants in the Seed Identification Contest.

Team 1:  Dakota Bell, Dylan Decker, Tyler Jones, and Cody Slagle placed 13th, and Team 2:  Devin Collins, Bryant Dean, Logan Decker, and Brandon Dishman placed 20th out of 28 teams in the Livestock Judging Contest.

Kamron Barnett, Kaitlyn Crabtree, and Cheyenne Hicks participated in the Equine Science Team Contest.  Kaitlyn Crabtree placed 4th overall individually.

Ashley Coffey, Kayla Ragan, and Chris Stevenson participated in the Dairy Judging Contest.

Katie Carter placed 9th out of 15 contestants in the Forestry and Natural Resources Contest.

Isaiah Garth participated in the Auctioneering contest.
