Spotlight on Eastern Kentucky University

Many of you may be thinking about attending Eastern Kentucky University after high school.  Since you likely have questions about things like qualifications for acceptatce and cost of tuition, the following information may be useful.

The costs (per semester) for Kentucky residents are as follows:

  • Full time: $3,768
  • Part time (fewer than 12 credit hours): $314 per credit hour
  • Online (Undergraduate): $395 per credit hour
  • Online (Graduate): $465 per credit hour

Students must also meet the criteria of graduating from an accredited high school with a minimum grade point average (cumulative) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or submit a (minimum) ACT score of 20 or an SAT score of 950 or more. They must also meet the Kentucky  pre-college coriculum as well as submit a six-semester high school transcript , GED (General Equivelancy Diploma) , or, documentation that indicates the completion of an EKU approved home-school or distance learning high school program.
