Weekly Parent Newsletter and Homework Sheet

Cllick on month, then on the week to get a extra copy of the Weekly Homework sheet to print
 if needed: 
Parent signed homework completed and reading sheets are a reading GRADE and due back to Mrs. Lisa every Friday morning! 
There is NIGHTLY HOMEWORK for all  ELA Classes. It is each student's responsibility to bring this sheet, a reading book, AR library books, and their homework folder with all unfinished work home to finish nightly.


*READ for 20 minutes every night Monday through Thursday night--Students will have reading books or AR/ Library book.  Parent will please sign the Weekly Reading Log on the back of the Newsletter each night. Students are to return their signed Newsletter/ Reading Log every Friday to Mrs. Lisa.


*Study the Vocabulary Words on the back of the weekly newsletter for the reading story each week.  There is a Reading TEST EVERY Friday.


*SPELLING- Study the 25 spelling words every night Monday-Thursday.  There is a spelling TEST  EVERY Friday.


*READING 1-Minute  fluency sheet---time every night Monday through Thursday to see how much they can grow in reading fluency.


*Sight Word Lists---Some students have sight word lists to learn and study each night to help IMPROVE reading.


*LEXIA Online---Do not forget to have your child on weekends to log-in to and do work on some of their reading skills.  This needs to be completed on their own.  Their is lessons to help them learn the skills they are struggling with and lots of practice before moving up to a new level.


Mrs. Chastity has a multiplication math packet for each week. Students are required to do one page each night fir memorization and practice. These packets are due back to her every Friday morning.  As well, students will have side B of a math worksheet several nights per week to finish in their homework folder. Remind your child they ARE RESPONSIBLE for bringing this work home nightly.
