DAV Chapter 105 Honor Guard members were lined up in the corner of the square and performed a 21 gun salute later in the ceremony to honor veterans.
DAV sponsored the Veteran's Parade
Guests applauded for the local Veterans as they were recognized and asked to stand.
The Wayne County High School band performed the Armed Forces Medley during the ceremony.
Local vocalist Peggy Bertram sang the National Anthem
Keynote Speaker Matt Parmley delivered a message to the local Veterans, while DAV Commander Jeff Morgan listened.
Choir Director Anita Peters led the Monticello Elementary Waynetonian Choir as they gave a salute
