Wayne County High School Baseball wins 48th District Championship

Seniors on WCHS 2021 Baseball Team

For the first time since 2012, Wayne County Baseball have been named the 48th District Champions. On Sunday, May 30, the Bat Cards defeated Southwestern 4-1.

All-Tournament Team members from Wayne County included: Kason Pitman, Malachi Brown, Andrew Brammer, and Renan Dobbs.

Wayne County will advance to the 12th Region Baseball Tournament, to be played at Danville High School on Saturday, June 5th at 1:30 p.m. The next round of winners will play June 6th.
