It's back! One of the jewels of Wayne County's educational opportunities. Wayne County's 21st Century Program will have summer camp and activities for students who will be in Grades 3 through 8 when school starts in the fall. Every summer, students have enriched their minds with creative activities including a wealth of topics to choose from like: competitive cook offs, literary events, drama productions. exciting field trips, and physical training.
Parents, if your child wants to participate and needs transportation, you will have until this Friday, May 14th to get their application turned in. Student applications turned in after the 14th will not be eligible for transportation.
Only students not required to be at Summer School for academic reasons are eligible for the 21st Summer Program. This summer the district is also offering tutoring and classes for students to catch up (from the pandemic) through Summer School from June 7-July 2. Transportation is being offered for these programs, also.
