In the team categories, Monticello Elementary finished 23rd out of 32 teams. Wayne County Middle School finished 68th out of 101 teams. Wayne County High School finished 49th out of 115 teams.
“This has been a very difficult year with this pandemic and these students have worked very hard under many restrictions,” noted Shelton.
Their season started in January and will conclude in April. Their next competition will be nationals. It will be shot virtually at their home range on campus. Then the final event will be for the high school archers through the KHSAA in April.
