FCCLA Wayne County Chapter performs well at Region

FCCLA students go extra mile at region

Thirteen members of the Wayne County Chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America attended their Region 14 meeting on March 11 at Lindsey Wilson College.

Riley Hicks, Jasmine Boykin, and Andrea Napier competed in individual programs and earned state and national recognition for the Power of One. The Power of One is a goal setting competition in which each individual must meet and document success in each area. The state advisor for Individual Programs even asked for permission to use their Power of One applications for training purposes at state conference.  Wayne County High School Chapter President Dakota Stinson led the prayer. Chapter Vice President Jasmine Boykin serves on the regional nominating committee.

"All of the members represented Wayne County with Cardinal Pride," noted FCCLA Sponsor Shannon Foster.
