Students from Wayne County Area Technology Center participated in the SkillsUSA Leadership and Regional Competitions held at Pulaski County ATC

SkillsUSA is a national non-profit organization devoted to preparing students for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations. It serves more than 300,000 high school, college and professional members. The students competed in several skilled contests including Automotive, Carpentry, Machining, Welding, and Industrial Maintenance. Leadership Competitions included Job Skill Demonstrations. SkillsUSA, a national organization dedicated to helping students succeed in technical and service opportunities, has several levels of competition that allows the students to showcase their skill sets. The Wayne County Area Technology Center had several medal winners and they will advance to compete at the State Leadership and Skills Conference this April in Louisville, KY.
