Wayne County High School students show their support at Boys Basketball Game

High School Game

The Wayne County Boys Basketball Team hosted South Laurel this past Monday, January 14th. Students from the band, cheerleading, dance team, JROTC and the pep section all gathered together to cheer on their fighting cards. The Wayne County High School Band played the school song and many other great musical pieces. The Wayne County Cheer Team encouraged the pep section and many others to cheer for the Wayne County Cardinals. JROTC did a great job presenting and carrying the American and Kentucky flag before the game started. The Dance Team preformed very well at halftime with their routine. So, many Wayne County students enjoy coming out and cheering on their team no matter what sport it is. The next Boys Basketball game will be this Friday, January 17th at McCreary County High School. So come out and support your Cardinals!!
