Cardinals Beat Corbin Redhounds in dramatic game

Cardinals Beat Corbin Redhounds in Dramatic Way

Wayne County traveled to Corbin Kentucky to play one of the hardest games they had played all season. They were able to edge out the Redhounds by winning 18-16. It was a low scoring affair but a thrilling 4th quarter as Wayne would have to fight back to win the game. Quarter Back Brody Weaver had a great game throwing 10/21 and passing for 166 yards and a touchdown. Running Back Braedon Sloan ran hard, rushing for 207 yards and a touchdown. Tito Ruiz was able to recover a fumble from Corbin's special teams unit. Defensive Lineman Cody Roysdon lead the team in tackles with eight. The next game for the Wayne County Cardinals will be this Friday, November 1st, at North Laurel.
