Senior Colton Morrow has been chosen as Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship recipient from Wayne County High School.
In order to be selected, students must excel in three areas: Learn, Perform, and Lead. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, and participate in at least one of the 47 sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Association. In addition, students must be a leader in school and in the community and be a role model for underclassman.
Morrow is an academic achiever and been an outstanding athlete of the Wayne County Wrestling Team. He attended the Governor’s Scholar Program last summer and is a Rogers Scholar, as well. He is an Eagle Scout and has served his community well.
Morrow is the son of Wanetta and Wayne Morrow.
