Wayne County Middle School wins "Viewer's Choice" award in the 5th Annual Scarecrow Trail

Proceeds from the fun contest go to the Imagination Library. All families who sign up with the imagination library get a free book in the mail every month for children ranging from birth to 5 years old. The worthwhile educational fundraising event sponsored by Tis the Season Gift Shop raised $640.

The WCMS won two categories with their impressive display. Congrats on receiving most votes from the public in the "Viewed Choice" category, as well as top choice voted by committee for group/non-profit category.

Tis the Season Gift Shop Representative Katherine Kidd presented a $640 check to Walker Early Learning Center Principal Angela Ballinger to go towards the Imagination Library. Funds were raised from donations and entry fees for the Scarecrow Trail 2020. In addition, an anonymous individual donated $300.00 of this as matching funds.
