• Alert:

    Wayne County will resume in-person classes on Monday, September 28 on an alternating schedule.  In-person students will be assigned to attend school on either Red (Monday & Wednesday) or White (Tuesday and Thursday) days.  All other days will be virtual days.  Expect communication from your child’s teacher regarding their assignment by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 22nd. Arrangements will be made for all members of the same household to attend on the same days.  Students who chose the full-time virtual option will continue with virtual instruction.

The Center for Rural Development Hosts First-Ever Country Brunch Cooking Class

     Everyone knows there’s nothing better than biscuits, right? Enjoy hot sweet potato biscuits layered with thin slices of country ham and a dab of apple butter, covered in red-eye gravy; country-style fried potatoes; classic omelets; and Nutella croisssant banana bread pudding at our first-ever Country Brunch cooking class on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (EST) at The Center for Rural Develoment, located at 2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15) in Somerset.

     To register, call 606-677-6000 or register online for Country Brunch cooking class. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children (5-10 years old). You may register and pay at the door!
