New immunization requirements will take effect during the 2018-2019 school year.

The Kentucky Department of Public Health is requiring all students to get a two dose series of Hepatitis A vaccine before they can enter the 2018-2019 school year. All children ages 16 and older are required to have a meningitis vaccination, which is considered a booster dose from their 6th-grade vaccinations. It is recommended to schedule your child's immunization appointment as soon as possible. Contact your healthcare provider or the Healthy Kids Clinic to schedule an appointment.
