• Alert:

    Wayne County will resume in-person classes on Monday, September 28 on an alternating schedule.  In-person students will be assigned to attend school on either Red (Monday & Wednesday) or White (Tuesday and Thursday) days.  All other days will be virtual days.  Expect communication from your child’s teacher regarding their assignment by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 22nd. Arrangements will be made for all members of the same household to attend on the same days.  Students who chose the full-time virtual option will continue with virtual instruction.

The Help Houston Project

In high hopes to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit Texas, the local Wayne County FFA chapter is hosting a local donation drive through this we hope to help the needs of countless victims who have lost the many things we take for granted each and every day. We are hoping to have all items collected on Wednesday October 4th for packaging that next week on the 11th. We are preferably asking for items (in good/fair condition) such as the following but anything will help—Thank You, The Wayne County FFA Chapter! Items can be brought to the Wayne County High school for Class Competition and the public can bring their donations to the Local Extension Office.

*Baby formula


*Medical Supplies

*Only packaged socks and new clothes (no used please)

*Toiletries such as Toilet paper, towels, toothpaste, etc.



*Bottled water

*Cleaning supplies

*School Supplies

*For kids-coloring books, crayons, (activities for them)

*Jackets for winter months


*Book bags
