Welcome to our classroom! A little about me, this is my sixteenth year teaching. I have taught second and third grade regular education, as well as preschool, kindergarten, and first grade special education. I am currently teaching Kindergarten special education. I love teaching special education, each of my children are unique and special in their own way and they always leave a lasting impression on my heart. I believe that each and every child can learn no matter what their disability and I enjoy trying new things with my students to see how they learn best.
I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Kentucky University, my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Union College, my Rank I in Special Education from Union College, and my Director of Special Education certification from University of the Cumberlands. I am married and have 3 children ages 5, 9, and 13. My family and I are active members of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church. My hobbies include spending lots of time with my family, shopping and traveling.
