Over 450 people attended the recent Child Plus Fair to begin registering for preschool and kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year. Over 30 vendors occupied booths to share helpful education and health information. Parents learned about early learning options regarding Preschool, Kindergarten, Head Start, and Cardinal Kids Campus while children collected balloons and promotional items and played in the Candyland toy area.
Approximately 160 children were registered for school (Head Start, Preschool and Kindergarten) at the special event held in the Rodney Woods Gymnasium from 10:30-1:30 p.m. Family Resource Coordinator Audra Branscum wished to thank everyone who attended, as well as the vendors and many workers who contributed their time and talents. The huge variety of generously donated door prizes were also greatly appreciated.
