The Kentucky Department of Education and Valvoline Inc. have selected 24 outstanding Kentucky educators as recipients of the 2022 Valvoline™ Teacher Achievement Awards (TAA) including Wayne County School Teacher Jamie Reagan. She and the other 23 recipients have qualified to compete for the 2022 Kentucky Teacher of the Year Award, which will be announced in September.

Girls LIttle Dribblers Camp coming up Previous Girls Little Dribblers

Board of Education approves construction managerial company for new elementary school building project WC School Seal

 The Wayne County Board of Education met Thursday, July 15th, continuing to make plans for the construction of a new elementary building, with the help of federal COVID relief money.

The next Wayne County School Job Fair is scheduled for July 7 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the District Services Office (formerly known as the ATC or Vocational School). Come and join our team!  Anyone seeking employment in a professional environment is encouraged to attend. Openings for full-time cooks, bus drivers, teachers, and special needs assistants; as well as substitute positions in a variety of areas.  Please bring names and contact information (address and phone numbers) for three references.
