WCMS students participate in G2-TECS at Somerset Community College to explore STEM opportunites

Stem Children

G2-TECS program is Guys Geared up for Technology, Engineering, Computers, and Science. WCMS students Aaron Hesse, John David Rains, Xander Sumner, and Bryson Slaven participated in the program that was hosted at SCC. 13 other counties also came to the conference. G2-TECS was created for guys to get fired up and concider math-based and science-based careers and to gain confidence in those subjects. As well as to not be afraid to take on the higher level courses of those subjects. The students worked on hands-on activities such as Paramedics, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Physics, Engineering, Augmented Reality, and Radiography.
