Head Coach: Stewart Gregory (14th year overall was assistant last four years and served as head coach at MHS for 9 years)

What are the strengths of your 2017 team?

“We return 3 kids from last year’s team that won the region for the first time in school history, so we have some quality experience.”

What are your biggest concerns going into the season?

“We must get our four and five guys to contribute in a big way for us to repeat as region champs, so consistency is a big key.”

Talk about your upcoming 2017 schedule?

“We will be playing in 9 tournaments this year before the regional tournament.   This will hopefully prepare us for the region which will be held at Crooked Creek Golf Course in London on Sept. 25.”

Any key players, seniors or standouts that you want to mention?

“The three returning players give us confidence with all their experience.  Reese and Gehrig Sexton both played on a middle school state championship team, while Kameron Gehring will find a way to score with his competitiveness.”

What are you looking for and what would you consider a successful season to be, or what are your team’s goals?

“Our goal is to win the region.  The kids believe we can win so it is up to them to put in the time to prepare.  The season should be very interesting and we’re looking forward to it.”
