Wayne County Archery had a good year. All three teams competed in six tournaments. The Wayne County High School Team also competed in the KHSAA Regional tournament, which was hosted locally.
The Monticello Elementary Team was ranked in the top 10 for most of the year and finished 17th out of 99 schools in the state. Injuries had a huge impact later in the year. We had one female, Elle Reichenbach, to place at the NASP Regions that was held at North Laurel.
The Wayne County Middle School Team was better than normal this year. The team placed 2nd at the NASP Region at North Laurel. Wayne County had two individuals place at the regional level, which was Brody Shelton and Lilly Owens.
The Wayne County High School Team was not as strong as normal, but had a good year. We had one female to place at the NASP Region at North Laurel which was Amelia Ramsey. She also placed 3rd in the KHSAA Regional Tournament which made her eligible to shoot in the KHSAA State Tournament.
