Monticello Woman's Club proudly announces local art students with winning entries in the GFWC-Ky 9th District Student Art Contest. Kristina Famulyak won first place for her painting and second place for her watercolor. Jazzlyn Rigney placed second in the painting contest.
First place winning entries are now eligible to compete in Kentucky's final judging. The 9th District accepts entries from up to 16 counties including Wayne County and is open to all high school students. First place winners from all districts throughout Kentucky will advance to the final contest later this spring.
"We are proud to have sponsored Kristina and Jazzlyn to represent the Monticello Woman's Club and Wayne County High School," said local Art Contest Representative Jeannie Tate. These students art work was submitted through WCHS Art Teacher Tim Withers.
