Retro Night at Wayne County honors the past, so the Cardinals are recognizing two of their best players.

First, this player had 632 career rebounds and 895 points.  He played college basketball at Lee’s College and went on to be the Head Coach at Monticello before finishing as an assistant for the Lady Cards.  Let’s welcome back #14, Hall of Famer, TOM PYLES.

The next former player dished out 592 assists and scored 793 career points as one of Wayne County’s greatest point guards.  He was an assistant with the Cardinal boys for 7 years before becoming the Head Coach of the Lady Cards, leading them to numerous District and Regional Championships before retiring.  Let’s welcome, #23 Hall of Famer, TIM PYLES.

These 2 brothers and former Cardinals helped lead Wayne County to 80 victories in their careers.  So special thanks to Tim and Tom Pyles, two Cardinal Legends and members of the Wayne County Basketball Hall of Fame.
