Check out the Farm to Fork special menu and the vendors that supplied the food!

     Wayne County Schools are serving a special “farm to fork” menu on Wednesday, October 27th at each of the five schools in the district.

      Check out the main menu which should be delicious. Schools will also be serving Big Daddy’s Pizza which is a product manufactured in Northern KY.  “We wanted to make sure the students had a choice of what to eat and keep it as local as possible,” said Food Service Director Kathryn Tucker.    

      Vendor flyers are featured below to show where some of the food on the school menu comes from in this area. Windy Hills meats provided 400-500 pounds of beef for all five of Wayne County’s Schools. Brainard’s Farm provided 80 pounds of beef separated between, Bell, Monticello, Middle, and High schools.  The apples look amazing from Haney’s and there are a variety of types available.

      Plus, the story of Taylor Belle’s Ice cream is worth sharing with students.  She is very remarkable.  Of course, last but not least, our wonderful school garden that provides many of our fresh produce until November.
