With the current drastic rise in COVID cases in the Lake Cumberland Area that the health departments are seeing, it is time once again to make sure everyone has the latest guidance and information to protect yourselves, your families and your staff. Currently, the health department is days behind in contact tracing due to the extremely large numbers of reports they are receiving daily. Testing resources across the region are limited and many providers are only testing symptomatic individuals and those appointments are sometimes several days out. The good news is... vaccine is available. Many pharmacies, providers and all the health departments have vaccine. If you or others you know have not received a vaccine, please consider getting it.
The following resources (both in English and Spanish) contain information about current isolation and quarantine recommendations. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or been a contact of someone who is COVID positive, please look at these documents or visit www.lcdhd.org for more information. Do NOT wait on a call from the health department to give you instructions, as that call may be days away.
