Wayne County Juniors Gehrig Sexton and Gage Gregory competed in the regional and state competitions this year in golf. Gage Gregory tied for runner up with a round of 72, while Gehring Sexton tied for fourth place with a score 74 during their regional tournament. The state tournament was held at Bowling Green Country Club and was from October 6th-October 7th. Gehring Sexton finished 44th in the state and Gage Gregory just missed the second day cut by two strokes. Both of these golfers are looking forward to play their senior year and are ready to compete for that regional championship.
