       Incoming Preschoolers Welcome at Walker Early Learning Center

The final screening date is August 5th, so whether you have enrolled yet or not, call Walker Early Learning Center to schedule your child's screening appointment today at 606-348-4251. It is not too late to register your child for preschool, where they will receive individual attention in a safe and nurturing educational environment. WELC offices are open Monday - Friday from 8am-4pm. to assist you in enrolling your child. Or you can enroll online through the school district website. Please call the Center located on Albany Road if you have any questions. Any forms or entry requirements can also be faxed to the Center at 606-348-0168. PRESCHOOL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

* Eye Exam: Must be one year current and completed by an Ophthalmologist or

Optometrist.

* Immunization Certificate: Shots must be current and up to date on a KENTUCKY

certificate.

*Physical: Must be one year current and completed by a doctor or nurse practitioner.

* Birth Certificate: Must be the original or state certified copy.

*A copy of Social Security card
