Young athletes gain tips at baseball camp

Head Coach Josh Bartley rounding the team up

On March 2nd, the Wayne County High School Baseball team hosted “Future Cardinals Baseball Camp”, a one-day camp to help teach young athletes the basic fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running. For $25, a future baseball player could come to the hitting facility at the WCHS Baseball field and practice with the 2019 Wayne County High School Baseball team. The younger players look up to the older baseball players and enjoyed working by their side and learning basics of the sport.
