Reese Sexton Wins 10th Region Tourney, Kameron Ghering Advances as Well

Resse Sexton and Kameron Gehring

Reese Sexton won the 10th Region Championship with an even par 72 at Crooked Creek golf course.  The first Individual boys region champion from Wayne County.   Kameron Gehring qualified for state tournament also with a round of 75.  They will both be playing in the state golf tournament in Bowling Green Oct. 2-4.  The team finished 3rd overall with a score of 324.   Corbin won the region with a 318 and Clay Co. was second with a 322.

 

Our middle school team finished second at Glasgow and will be playing in the middle school state golf tournament this Saturday at Quail Chase in Louisville.
