"See You at the Pole"

The Wayne County High School FCA students invite everyone to their "See You at the Pole" event on September 28 at 7:45 a.m. This is an optional event, and the FCA students encourage those that would be interested in it to attend.

Special thanks to Master Gardener Vannie Hatfield for contributing to the Imagination Library after learning about the program at a recent KY Proud dinner featuring veggies from the school graden.

Students enjoy High Attendance Day activities at the elementary level

Students had a blast on inflatables at Monticello and Bell Elementary Schools. Monticello Elementary students also were allowed to use all kinds of electronic devices (cell phones, tablets, ipads, and ipods) during the last hour of the school day. A free fall festival was held after school at Bell Elementary until 5:00 p.m. for their student body, as well.

Bell Elementary remember 9/11

Bell Elementary recognized first responders who visted their school recently. Everyone appreciates their efforts in keeping our community safe.

Wipe Out Drugs service project being held in school district

Operation Unite is hosting a toilet paper drive in the school system. Donations will be received at WCHS and will be used to benefit numerous treatment centers in the area. The deadline to donate is September 30.
