It is time to begin nominating outstanding individuals who are employed by Wayne County
Schools for the Go Cards Awards ceremony, which will be held on the opening day for the staff in
August.

Bell Elementary Students and Families Enjoyed "Get Revved Up for Reading" Students participating in activities

Some 215 people attended the recent literacy night which included dinner, reading, activities, and special drawing for prizes. Community members graciously brought in some antique vehicles to park on the playground so the students could check them out and learn about the car enthusiasts' passions.

Wayne County Schools will again participate in "Rock Your Socks" for World Down Syndrome Awareness Day this year on Thursday, March 21. To participate, simply wear "crazy" or mismatched socks
