The Wayne County High School Drama Class will be presenting The Bottom of the Lake
play on May 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Pickrell Auditorium at the high school.
The community is welcome to attend. Tickets are not required and admission is free.
The 20 cast members from the class are excited to present the play that they have worked on in
class this semester.
The play offers a look into summer camp and all the memories that go with it ranging
from s’mores to campfires to ghost stories.
The story line goes like this, “Dani’s out in the middle of the woods at night, alone,
without a flashlight. She meets three girls from another camp, and the new friends tell ghost
stories to pass the time…After each of their stories comes to life onstage, only one story
remains to be told – a story none of them saw coming.”
The audience can expect an awesome combination of urban legends, teen issues,
romance, and absurd comedy all in a single play!
