New Senior Walkthrough was very special event for all involved Walkthrough

Underclassmen across the campus enjoyed cheering for the out going seniors on the last day of school. There were some tears shed and several hugs along the route by both seniors, staff, and family members as the future graduates dressed in red cap and gowns marched down the hallways of each school.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:

Bell Elementary student parade rings Literacy Bell Principal Derrick Harris starts the parade with the Cardinal Mascot

Kids had fun ringing the literacy bell in the front hallway. They were congratulated by the Cardinal Mascot and the Superintendent of the School System, Wayne Roberts. Students who have met or exceeded benchmark on F&P got to ring the bell (a level J for first grade and a level M for second grade). The first graders had a parade at 9:00 and the second graders had a parade at 10:00. The groups reported to the gymnasium before their parades to receive a message of encouragement from Principal Derrick Harris.

Families enjoyed attending the book fair after school while students have benefitted from the event during the school day. Thank you to Ms. Nell Boils for accomodating families and offering an evening of reading recently.

Wayne County Tennis concludes their regular season Wayne County Tennis concludes their regular season

The Wayne County Tennis team has recently concluded their regular season. Our boys' team went undefeated at 12-0. Meanwhile, our girls had a very successful season at 8-3. Both teams will attend Regionals at Centre College on May 5, 6, and 8. Congratulations to the following students for making it to Regionals: Morgan Munsey, Macie Weaver, Kaitlyn Garner, Presley Roberts, Cassie Stockton, Grayson Roberts, Corbin Kirksey, Zach Dishman, Cameron East, Alex McFarland, Sam Fairchild, and Brody Weaver.
