College Application Week begins at WCHS

Senior discusses honor program

Wayne County High School seniors and their parents will be interested in knowing that the FAFSA forms for future college financial aid open on October 1st.   Families need to use their 2017 taxes to complete the computerized form.

Wayne County High School will provide two workshops on October 2nd and on October 4th  from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help families go through this process. Slots are still available and a sign up sheet is posted in the high school guidance office. KHEAA Outreach Counselor Audrey Price will be on campus to help seniors complete their financial aid application. In addition, seniors will be benefitting from a variety of college recruiting visitors during College Application week.

Wayne County High School Counselors are anxious for all the seniors to apply for these workshop sessions so they can help them through this process.

If students cannot make it next week, Ms. Price will be visiting the high school once a month to answer questions on postsecondary plans and help families complete the FAFSA.
